Note From Fred: November 2020
We just wrapped up Prime Day 2020. I am proud of the stellar results that we delivered on behalf of our clients. Unfortunately, selling effectively on Amazon has gotten much more complicated since COVID. It helps to have a large team that has deep expertise on the platform. Our clients grew by 123%, almost 3.5X the average Prime Day results!

Our unit volume increased by 193% versus last year’s Prime Day event. These results are a testament to the power of leveraging data to drive the business, proactive planning, great technology, and executing with excellence.
Here’s what Jackson Burnett at Vapor Apparel said: “We are blown away by our Amazon Prime Day results from this year, thanks to the HINGE GLOBAL team. Our sales grew by almost 50% vs. last Prime Day, with a 71% increase in conversion rate and double the number of page views! Our ROAS was 6.5X, showing great advertising effectiveness. Big thanks to the HINGE team for managing our promotions, marketing, and operations to ensure a seamless Prime Day. We’re looking forward to seeing great results for upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday too!”
We are currently helping several Enterprise-level Business-to-Business (B2B) companies migrate to digital business commerce and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) selling on Amazon, Walmart.com, Petco.com, and Target.com. We’re seeing this migration across a wide range of industries – from facilities products, chemicals, food-service, and even cut flowers. COVID, the economic downturn, and the fact that more employees are working from home have profoundly disrupted B2B sales. Even prior to COVID, there were already changes happening in B2B sales – many B2B customers were already starting to demand more digital commerce and self-service buying, rather than relying on distributors.
Gartner Research predicts that 80% of B2B sales will migrate to digital commerce by 2025. Furthermore, B2B companies are recognizing that to continue to grow, they need to broaden their customer base, and selling directly to consumers is one strategy to accomplish that. If you are a B2B business, do not sit on the sidelines here – you must embrace digital commerce to future-proof your business.
